Dicks ... The best greezy burgers ever!

I think I'm the only person in Seattle that can't stand Dicks! I like Burgermaster and Burgerville though. We make a run to Centralia for strawberry shortcake at Burgerville....yum!!

We have a little local chain called Scotty P's that is my personal favorite. I get their grilled chicken salad but all of their food is good.

Attn Mytwotinks, if you have never been to Wichita KS and to Ty's Diner, you would say that Winsteds is the best but...Ty's RULES!!!!

When I lived in Wichita I'd eat there once a week. All the waitresses & cook knew my name. Freinds of mine said it was my "Cheers" YUMMY

OK, only joking (although my DP does love them). I've got 2 places in Minneapolis:
1. The Band Box, a TINY (I think it has 3 2-seat tables and about 4 seats at the counter) greasy spoon joint near downtown; used to eat there for lunch a lot since I worked about a block away.
2. The 5-8 Club, a former speakeasy on the southern edge of town near the airport; one of a few places in the Twin Cities that claim to be the 'home of the Juicy Lucy', a gigantic burger with molten lava, er, cheese in the middle. They make several other great burgers too, and pretty darn cheap...

We have two local 'hole in the wall' type places here. One is Hamburger King with some humongeous burgers which are very juicy and the other is a place called Chris' Hotdogs. They have very good hotdogs and cheeseburgers where they use their own sauce on them. I love to grab som Chris' anytime I'm near the downtown area.

In eastern NC, there's a chain called Andy's Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers...the best burgers ever! Served eastern NC style with chili, mustard, slaw and onions (hold the onions for me please).

We had a mom and pop place in the neighboring town of our old house. They had the BEST burgers, infact about the only place I will eat a hamburger. We could go there with the kids, order drinks, burgers, fries, the whole deal for about $20, with tip, for the 5 of us. Heck, the building was a dump but you needed RESERVATIONS if you wanted to eat there on the weekends. It was always packed.

Haven't been to All American burger but have heard the rave reviews too. Now I haven't eaten here since I was a kid, but this place is supposedly one of the best on LI: Conte's Burger Haven. It still gets rave reviews. My mother gave it a thumbs up not long ago too.

There's a place around here called 5 Guys... they have great burgers.

Yes, this is where we go when we need a GREAT burger...but I hold the slaw please! Alot of their food is great, and the servers are funny and fast!

All 4 of us could not even make a dent in it...but it was so good...here's a pic of my DD's with it

There's a cafe about 1 1/2 hours from me that has burgers like that. At this place, they are called hubcap burgers because they are supposed to be the size of a hubcap.

Locally, we have a Feltner's Whataburger. It is not part of the national chain, Whataburger. I believe this place was around before that chain.
Anyway, this burger joint is known state-wide and many people stop (it's right off the freeway) just to eat here.

I must admit that I am a little biased, as I worked at Andy's while I was in college! It was a great place to work.
