Day 4 - 18th November
We had a lie in that morning as it was DH's birthday & as it was I let him decide what we were going to do all day. He decided he wanted to spend the day at the Studios so off we went. We went to see Playhouse Disney again (DH filmed the whole thing), back on the Flying Carpets & Cars. We also saw Cinemagique which DD surprisingly sat through without taking her eyes off of the screen. She really enjoyed it. DH decided he wanted to go on Rock 'N Roller Coaster so I waited in Blockbuster Cafe as I don't do loop the loops. He came back with the biggest grin on his face and said I should do it. I just thought to myself I've given birth & had surgery on my hand under local anisthetic and it couldn't be any worse than that. It was amazing. I absolutely loved it. We had lunch & then I decided to queue for Crush's Coaster. Again, I loved it. We also saw Animagique again but this time we sat nearer the back in the middle.
We headed over to Cafe Mickey for our dinner reservation at 6.15. We were one of the first people in there and were seated upstairs in front of the huge window with a wonderful view. We'd only been there for a few minutes when Chip & Dale arrived. DD didn't know who they were but she kept shouting across the room to them to get them to come over. Next out was Mickey, then Smee, then Minnie & then Pluto came out but didn't make it to our table much to DD's disgust. She wasn't at all happy. I'd arranged for DH to have a birthday cake which was bought out by Mickey & they made him stand on his chair which he wasn't very happy about as he's a very shy person. Once we'd had some cake I had to take DD down to the loo and when we got back Pluto had already been to our table. When he saw us come back he came over & played with DD's Pluto for a while & signed her notebook to say Happy Birthday thinking it was her birthday, I told him it was DH's birthday which he thought was quite amusing. We left the restaurant and found out our buggy had been stolen. I couldn't believe it. We told the restaurant manager who arranged for us to have a hire buggy and because it was so cold & had been raining she got one of the security guards to take DH to the shop to get a new blanket (ours was on the stolen buggy) & an umbrella. I was so upset. We did plan on going back to the Redwood bar for a drink but once we'd got everything sorted it was late & neither of us were in the mood to have a drink. Then it got worse. At about 1.30am DD woke up vomiting. It was awful, Housekeeping ended up coming to the room at about 2.30 to change the sheets and left a load of towels. Then both me & DH had really bad stomachs. We think it may have been the mushrooms from Cafe Mickey. When we go back we're going to avoid Cafe Mickey.
