Day 3 - 17th November
This was the only day on our trip where there were EMH so we had an early breakfast but because the parks were so quiet during our trip we didn't have to queue for anything anyway. After breakfast we met Winnie The Pooh in the lobby and got to Disneyland Park at about 9.30. We walked down main street and were at the entrance of Discoveryland for rope drop so headed straight to Buzz's laser blast. DD really enjoyed it we then went on Orbitron and then got a baby swap ticket for Star Tours. I went on first and came off feeling really sick so DH decided he didn't want to go on it. As we came out of the exit Darth Vader was just arriving so DH & DD got their photo taken with him. We then headed over to Fantasyland and went straight on IASW. DD really got into it this time. After this ride we headed straight through Fantasyland and into Adventureland. We wandered through Adventure Isle and decided to have a drink in Hakuna Matata. Then we went on POTC. I wasn't sure how DD was going to react but she was fine, we went on it a few times over the next couple of days. We then wandered down to Frontierland and got Baby Swap for BTM. DH wasn't bothered but I LOVED it. We then headed back up to Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost for lunch. There was a CM there dressed as an African Warrior playing the bongo drums and DD got on stage with him & joined in. She loved it. We then went down to Phantom Manor. DD wasn't fussed either way by it. I think she was a bit perplexed by it all. It reminded me a bit of Phantom Fantasia that used to be at Thorpe Park. We then got on the train at Frontierland station and did a complete circuit of the park just so we could sit down for 20 minutes. Once we were off the train we went back on BTM and then back up to Fantasyland and did all the rides there whilst the parade was on.
We then took a shortcut through Liberty Arcade to the entrance and got a table at Annette's Diner. Best meal of the trip. At one point they turned the music up and did Grease Lightning & Think. DD was joining in & we have some very funny footage of her. We ended up ordering food for her from the kids menu but she ate most of it. We then went back to the hotel and listened to DD nattering away until about 10.30 before she finally fell asleep.
