Day 2 - 16th November 2010
The only breakfast available was 7.30-7.45 so we set the alarm went down for breakfast and then went back to the room to get ready. We decided to spend the day at Walt Disney Studio so left the room at about 10am. As we walked through the lobby we spotted Eeyore. DD hadn't actually met any characters up close at this point and I wasn't sure how she was going to be but as soon as she saw him she ran towards him & gave him a huge hug. He picked her up and sat her on his knee & we got some lovely pictures.

We then walked through DV to the Studios. As we walked in we saw Mickey in the Front Lot and the queue wasn't very long so we queued up for DD to meet him.

After that we headed through Studio 1 & to the tram tour, which had broken down. So we headed over to Toystory Playland. Slinky Dog was the only ride that DD could go on but it was closed so we went to the Disney Playhouse Show. DD absolutely LOVED it. DH even said it was his favourite part of the holiday. We came out & went onto the Flying Carpets which DD loved. We queued up to meet Donald & Buzz, but DD was a bit scared of Buzz, then we went over to meet Sullie. She was also a bit weary of him too. DH went on Crush's Coaster and as the queue was 45 minutes long I took DD onto Cars. It was her favourite ride through the whole park (apart from IASW) We then managed a ride on Slinky Dog which neither of us were very impressed with & then back onto Cars twice. We then saw DH fly past us on Crush's coaster. DH didn't like Crush (he doesn't do rides that spin). We then went for lunch in Blockbuster Cafe. Loved the High School Musical Theme. Food was very nice but there was only 3 highchairs in the whole restaurant & the CM I spoke to wasn't very helpful & asked why DD couldn't just sit in her buggy. We piled our coats up onto a chair and just held onto her so she could eat her lunch. She fell asleep not long after that so I took the opportunity and went on Armageddon. The build up went on a bit long but the actual "scene" was very clever. We then went for a wander around whilst DD was still asleep and when she woke up we went to see Animagique. We sat right at the front so could see the actors but DD really enjoyed it and was clapping along. We then spent the rest of the afternoon on the Flying Carpets & cars over & over again. And we also managed a ride on the tram tour.
We left the park & headed over to Rainforest Cafe for dinner. DD really liked the animals and was pointing out everything to us. DH had to send his dinner back as it was cold but got a replacement which was fine. After dinner we had a look in the shops and then headed back to our hotel. We got DD in her pyjamas and then went & sat in the Redwood bar. DH had a couple of beers & I had a glass of Rose with Ice, lime wedges & mint. I was surprised that the wine was actually cheaper than what we pay at home. The highlight of my night was seeing the actors that play Mr Tumble & Mister Maker on the table next to us. I really wanted to go over & chat to them but DH wouldn't let me & I couldn't think of how to break the ice. I was slightly starstruck.
