Bra Underwire Stuck in Front Load Washer

I put a load of wash in before I took DS to school this morning and when I got back it was just about done, but making a weird noise. When it finished I found half of an underwire from my bra in the tub. Since I didn't find the other half, I assume in went through a hole and that was what was making the noise.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

I read something online about taking the back panel off and trying to fish it out, but I wonder how hard this would be. I don't want to call someone to come out and fix it if I can do it myself, but I also don't want to break my washer.

I just had to completely tear apart our front loader because something got behind the inner tub. Turned out to be a droid from a Star Wars toy set. If you aren't handy I would not even try.

If your machine is still under warranty it might void the warranty to take it apart.
