Boys Costumes in the Parks

For anyone who is currently in the parks or has been recently, have you noticed which boys character costumes are sold in the parks right now? We leave in a week and a half and my son wanted to be Peter Pan, but the Disney Store doesn't have them online or in the local store yet. Now we are scrambling to find ANY character, let alone Peter Pan. Why do stores sell so many princess dresses year round, but very little if any boys costumes?

I think they cater to the girls more in costume department as its deemed dress up and goes with bibbidi bobbidi boutique

I've noticed pirate choices at times especially in the Pirates league
And occasionally you might find marvel Heros

Peter Pan himself has very limited metchandise as tinker bell and fairies sorta shoved him aside

I'm going during Halloween and got party tickets a actually made a Peter costume with some help so I am really excited about that as its a good option sometimes !!
