Let us know what you would pick.

My wife and I have been thinking…Disney is really missing the boat on the boys when it comes to character meals. So here are our plans if we were the Disney higher-ups:

1. At HS, an AL’S Toy Barn Blowout – Characters include Buzz, Woody, Bull’s-Eye, Army Men, & Zurg
2. At MK, a High Seas Hijinx - Characters include Pirate Mickey, Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook, & Peter Pan
3. At Epcot, a Banquet Fit for a Prince – Characters include Aladdin, Phillip, Eric, Prince Charming
4. I would do them all!
5. Disney has enough Character Meals!

P.S. – If Disney would like to use these ideas…I will allow it…for the small price of Free Dining Plan for every visit my family makes! :goodvibes

I don't even have any boys (just one girl), but I completely agree. Disney is out of touch with their lack of "boy" themed meals and experiences. I think they all sound great...DD4 would like all of these, as well. I hope Disney is reading!!!!:)

They've gone a little Princess crazy, that's for sure.

And they've made rides all so perfectly acceptable for the most over-protective PC mommy and scaredy-cat four year old that boys 7 & up really are getting, as you say, hosed. :)

I have 2 boys and we haven't gone to a character meal yet. This year we are going to CP. We love Disney but they do seem to cater more toward the Princesses.

There was a very short lived rumor and possibly true story that they were going to do a toy story Character meal at HS but that didn't seem to pan out. Forget hoping that someone is reading this. I say send Disney a letter. I'd go to the toy story one for sure!

This one is my fav. With the new Toy Story ride coming out soon and the next Toy Story movie coming out next year (I think it's next year??) I think that one's a no brainer.

Let us know how that royalty thing works out.;)

The first two sound great ... I would totally bring my nephew to those! The prince one, not so much - but I could see where others might enjoy it.

I agree with your concerns. They definitely seem to be catering to the girls. I like both the toy story idea as well as the princes one.

not sure how the average boy would respond to the Prince meal, but since my only DS is 6 mo old and has pretty much no opinion, I could be way mistaken! Other than that, they all sound like great fun, and my 7 yr old DD would have a blast at all of them (including the Princes)!

You should work for Disney!!! The Toy Story one and the Pirates one are both great! :thumbsup2 I think that the princes one would go over well too but maybe not so much for boys as for girls (all those princes are 'dreamy'!) Although they might not have such a following they could have an Incredibles or Monster's Inc one too and probably get a pretty good response.

Actually they should do the #3 for all us mom's. We need our own character meal too....:)

DW and I would them all. For we have done all the others. We don`t have kids or should I say we are the big kids:rotfl: We have a great time at all the character meals that they have now. So Disney spread some more :wizard: magic.

I voted for none because there are already too many character meals. It's bad enough that characters took over CRT, Akershus, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, and Hollywood and Vine. I would like to see more character-free restaurants!

My nephews like meeting the princesses, expecially Jasmine (she's hot, apparently) husbands like her too.

Years ago they had a Villains dinner at Park Fare, we went to it but my daughter hated the Villains and gave them all a talking to about how bad they were and how they should change their ways.. I was worried she was going to kick Governor Radcliffe in the shin.

I remember that rumor too. It looked all set to go, someone was even talking about them having character auditions (I promise it wasn't just Jim Hill!) then they announced that it was going to be a Playhouse Disney meal. Perhaps whoever has the say so for the Toy Story characters didn't like the idea (I know Disney owns Pixar, but I know these things are never straightforward. Look at Pooh Bear for example) Possibly at the time they didn't think it was relevant, well until they decided to put a Toy Story ride in. With Pixar popping up everywhere it's pretty amazing they don't have some sort of Pixar character meal.

Honestly, if there was a character meal that featured Captain Jack Sparrow, I would bet that it would be filled with more girls than boys!

Captain Hook came over & banged his hook on our table. My girsl were terrified but did not say a word:laughing:

I'll be first in line for that meal:love:

Well, with 4 boys under 9, I couldn't pass up this poll. I would pick either of the 1st two. Not crazy about a prince character meal. Yes, boys are hosed!!
