A dying child is trying to break the World Record for most Christmas cards. If anyone is interested in sending a card google Noah Biorkman & you can easily find the address.

"People around America are opening their hearts to the story of Noah Biorkman, a 5 year old boy currently in hospice, dying from Stage IV neuroblastoma, a type of cancer. His parents are asking people all around the country to mail Christmas cards to the boy early, as he may not live to see Christmas this year. Radio stations around the country have joined the movement, posting the boy's story and giving people the information necessary to help make this Christmas a very special one. His family will be celebrating Christmas this weekend. Noah was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in Feb. 2007. He went into remission in August 2007. In September 2008, Noah relapsed with lesions in his right arm and right leg. After going through six different trials, the cancer continues to spread. Noah is trying to break the Guiness Book of World Records for Christmas Cards received. Please help fulfill the Biorkman family's wish to make this the best Christmas ever for Noah. Teachers could used this as an opportunity to teach students how to make a friendly letter, how to address it properly and make it a lesson".

Wow, how fast things get twisted on the internet! (not your fault, OP, I know you're just posting what you heard and your intentions are good!)

He is not trying to break the world record. He simply asked for some cards.

https://www.carepages.com/carepages/NoahScottBiorkman/updates/2424886 You have to register to read the CarePages entries. They received 80,000 cards yesterday alone, on Veteran's Day! He already celebrated Christmas this past weekend.

I sent this boy a card over the weekend, and I'm not trying to tell anyone not to, but I am starting to worry about him becoming another Craig Shergold, who's family received over 35 million cards and had to move, while the cards keep pouring in to the old home. The Guiness Book of World Records has retired the category because they do not want anyone else to go through what the Shergolds did.
