My dh and ds our out at my ds's indoor baseball game and I am stuck in my room, like a prisioner, although I do go downstairs to do the laundry.
My dd-17, invited over 7 friends for a Christmas Dinner, which she organized.
She had a "Dress Code" LOL, they all came in dresses, skirts and VERY high heels
, and they all made a "dish" to bring with them (ie., pasta, meatballs, salad, etc.).
My dd and I made the table up last night in the dining room and she asked to use the good china
What is really nice is they said they said it will be their new tradition and even when they are all away in college, they will still be coming home each year and can still meet for their dinner.
Anyway, here I am on the dis and there are 8 16/17 year old gilrs downstairs having a feast LOL
Merry Christmas!!!

I read somewhere once that when they are little, the days go by so slowly but the years go by so quickly..so true!
It sounds like your daughter is starting a cool tradition!
