Hi does anyone know if boxed wine is allowed? The Bota Brick is the equivalent of 2 750ml bottles, but the wording of the alcohol policy has me unsure if it will be allowed or if the wine needs to be 2 separate bottles. I'd like to avoid the glass bottles if I can. Thanks!

I believe it must be 2 actual bottles. I know that you can't bring, for example, 4 smaller bottles that total the 1500ml max, you can only bring 2 bottles, and the maximum size on each is 750ml.

That was my experience as well. In Galveston in January they were checking all bottles very carefully and confiscating anything that did not fit DCL's guidelines.

It has to be 2 actual bottles, no larger than 750 ml each. Boxed wine would make it way too easy to smuggle anything else in.

I'll defer to the others on limits, but I have taken the small boxes on board before. As in the 500ml tetra box, not the larger size boxes.

I know I did in November of last year. So just after the update.

Don't see any official information in this thread, just "I think" and etc. You'll find out when you arrive.

BUT...in our experience you bet you can…just keep the "boxes" under 750ml. Fortunately, the security screeners seem empowered to use common sense! Very worst case is you encounter a "bottle" literal enforcer, and you get it back after the cruise.

There definitely was a bottle enforcer in Galveston. She was by the book all the way. A bit intimidating to people.

In Port Canaveral they seemed more lax.
