Box office only tickets to Cirque de Soliel

Does anyone know how much the box office only tickets are to La Nouba show? Is it a discounted rate? We are a family of five, all considered adults so the price to go category 3 is very expensive! Would LOVE to see the show but can't afford the $378 price tag

Think of it as a once in a lifetime experience. It is an amazing show to see. There's just some things at Disney you have to experience at least once. Kinda like a Halloween or Christmas Party, tasting everything at Food & Wine Festival, eating at a signature restaurant, upgrading to a deluxe.

If your girls are old enough, maybe just you and your husband can see it this year, and next time the girls could go alone. It's one way to spread out the cost a bit. Even at a Cast member price, it's still a hefty chunk of change.

Category 4 is sold in the box office only and costs $57/ticket. Family of 5 = $285.

I do think of it as a once in a lifetime experience...but this year we have added Universal to our trip and that has added $1400 to our total before food and spending money. And that's just for 2 nights!!!

We are gonna try and stop by the box office and see what seats and prices they are. Thanks!

I talked to some one recently who said they (or their family) went to Universal for HP, and that it was a complete madhouse. It was almost impossible to do anything. You're probably gonna need both days just to get something accomplished.

But I'll still be jealous. It's something I really want to see (without the crowds).

We are staying two nights at a Universal Resort and that gives us three days of Front Of The Line access to most attractions there. We are gonna do rope drop and lay by the pool all afternoon and go back at night. Hopefully with three full days we can accomplish all that we want to do. Can't wait!!

What is "box office only?"

I priced out the category 1,2 and 3 seats and found them too expensive for our family of five (three kids now counted as adults). I noticed on the seating chart there were a few areas that said box office only. I couldn't find a price anywhere online so I thought I'd ask here...

We too are doing Universal for 2 days so I was having a hard time justifying the cost of La Nouba for our family of four. It was getting to be too many additional expenses.
What we eventually decided is that Dh and Ds (7) aren't as interested as dd and I are in seeing it so they will find something else to do.
It does add up for sure.
We were just going to purchase the Cat3 tickets. I've seen post after post that although Cat 1&2 are great, that there really isn't a terrible seat to see the show. I think we'll be happy with Cat 3. I don't know about the box office only tickets but I will be interested in seeing the response as well

This is the exact strategy that we will be using 3 weeks from today. Pretty excited to be lounging by the Hard Rock pool as we endure day after day over 100.

Now you've got me considering Cirque one night. If we have time we might try walking up.
