Are there any fun bowling alleys near the DTD area? By fun, I'm thinking more than your avg. experience. If not, what's the closest one to the DTD area? TIA

They are building a bowling alley at Wide World of Sports. It isn't supposed to be done for another year or so.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind for a later trip. Do you have any suggestions for a place to go later this month?

Thanks Matt! We just got home from our trip. Coincidentally, we went to the World Bowling Center. We had a few mishaps, but they had fun. 1st, the place smelled worse than bad. We arrived at about 9:25pm not realizing they were starting the disco-bowl thing at 10pm. We only got in one game, before deciding not to participate in that. The lane they put us on had pin problems, & my DH always got a gimme. My son's girlfriend got help once, but my son was never so lucky. Naturally, our son wasn't thrilled that his dad always had a pin fall after the fact. We would go again, but hope for a different lane.
