Bowling For Columbine...

So I'm watching "Bowling For Columbine" in my Government class for the second time.

It simply blows my mind to see and hear these facts and claims that...well...just seem so extreme and it makes me feel so distraught to see and hear what happened to these poor kids. So, so tragic.

Michael Moore's voice is clearly evident in this documentary...I haven't decided whether I agree with him or not yet. I have to know more about politics before I make that decision.

What do you guys think about either the film?

I wouldn't go so far as to say he took things way out of context and that he misused facts...obviously he had a purpose, a goal, and a reason to clip things the way he did.

I'm not defending or denying his motives and techniques...just analyzing them as far as I can with what little I do know of him, Bush, and politics.

On another note, what really got to me was the gun use in America compared to the gun use in other countries...that little statistic blew my mind! over 11,000 guns in America are used...and what was it? 60 something used in the UK, 30 something used in another country, 300 used in another...basically NO country even hit into the 1,000's. It just made me think of the question Moore asked throughout the film...why America?
