Bowling Alley?

My DH just asked me a random question....does Disney own any bowling alleys? I told him I didn't think so, but I would ask on here!

no bowling alleys on Disney property. The closest (in terms of distance) is most likely Kissimmee Lanes.

I've often said that's the one thing Disney World could use. A bowling alley. Scheduling would be a nightmare but I'm sure Disney could come up with a good solution.

Thanks for the replies -- DH also thinks Disney should open one. He said, "They have everything except bowling - golf, movies, coasters, shopping...they need bowling!" To which I responded, "You're not bowling on vacation."

I have often thought that the only things WDW doesn't have to offer guests is a bowling alley and a go-cart track.I think those two activities combined with amazing Disney imagineering would be awesome.

i think the go carts would be a good idea for them to invest some money into, it make alot of money especially if they are themed toward disney

My DH would LOVE a bowling alley too!!! I like the go-kart idea......... they could gear the theming toward "Cars"!!!

They could put a bowling alley in one of the resorts-make it a bonus to stay there. That could help with the scheduling problems.

There is a themed restaurant in Tampa called Splitsville. It is a bowling alley and a restaurant (ESPN type menu). 50's decor and servers. My DH says the place belongs in DTD.
