Bowl Full of Lag - VMK Down 3/1/07

Is it just me or did VMK just become a bowl full of lag?

Yes indeed! I was in a friends room waiting for him to finish his quest and all of a sudden we all couldn't talk or move. then some of our words came up all at once and then he dc. Then a few more words came up and i did the moon walk for a few seconds and then i dc!

Yep, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to get my party room ready for tonight and everything is going so slow. I tried to change rooms and it won't let me. Sounds like what happened the other night were we got stuck in our rooms.

I haven't gotten that. I signed on like less 5 minutes ago. It was fine

Message box just popped up saying that they are working to resolve the issue and that there's no need to send in calls for help.

Hopefully it's resolved soon.

Just got message that they are momentarily closing the game to correct the issues.

They max out at 7000 players.

I'm in the game and just got a pop up message that said VMK was now closed and to come back when it's open from 7am to 10pm PST. It's still on, but I thought it was funny that box came up.
ETA: Never mind, just got kicked out.

I don't know about full, but I myself am getting a BSOD.

Edit: Yeah, VMK main page shows between 6992-6995 players on at the moment...
