Do you have any graphics package? Better yet - go to the top of this page - in the upper left corner of the light blue box, click on the underlined "Disney Cruise Line Forum" - once there look for the Cruise graphics and magnets links part 3 - or just click below:

He can make designs for you - you just print out - either on magnetic-backed photo paper - or on card stock or paper (and apply magnetic strips to the back).

...And that magician could come in handy...can he make things disappear...???!!!!!!

Like the extra weight we might put on during the cruise?

Oh - I just remembered the answer. Yes, you can join. Cut-off for sign up for Group 3 is March 31. It's a small group - but that might make it easier to get things done. There's a master spreadsheet where you self-fill-in your cruiser info and can list yourself on FE Group 3 (the tabs for the pages on are on the bottom of the page).

We'll also make you name tags w/lanyards so you can be greeted properly. We'll have them in the Cruise Terminal on check-in day and then again in the Promenade Lounge at 3:00 before the Life Boat Drill. You won't be able to really meet more than a few people - but you can get an idea of some of the faces and names in this group. Then you'll have 14 days to decide with whom you'd like to play.

The name tags are free - a gift from the Lanyard Team.

Yvet, thanks for the tipping info!

But think, you'll miss the adrenaline rush of staying up all night the night before madly trying to accomplish everything before the plane leaves. I'm not sure I'd know how to begin a trip in any other way...

It wouldn't be a vacation for us if we got 8 hours of sleep the night before a flight.

1. Make a list 2. Make seperat list for DH
3. Make a list of overnight hotel stuff 4. Remember to put stuff on the list. . .

AND.....since I just saw a post from him about OUR embarkation day...what do you think about a gift lanyard for PorterBob?? I guess when you'd arrive to drop of luggage, one could just yell "Who's Porter Bob?"

well I decided tonight to buy a 2nd rolling duffle because my hubby will not be here with the one he has until next thursday and I cannot stand it anymore. So tonight I went and bought one at Sams club with the money I saved from a price adjustment on the bowflex I have bought my hubby for his birthday (early since it doesn't meet the luggage requirement ) It started at $300 - which was a great deal - and went down to $129!!!! So I took the $186 I saved and bought stuff for the cruise!! (ok not all of it - the rolling duffle was only $40 but did get some other things for the cruise)

Anyway when I got home I unpacked all my suitcases and repacked them. Now I still plan on using the rolling duffle dh is bringing but it is going to be for the stuff we are still using (like bathing suits - as we are swimming these days - in the HEATED pool - we are brave but not crazy!) so anyway it will be our last minute packing bag.

I still need to go and finish FE's for groups #2 and #3 - all of which are family gifts and I am making them.

I still need to call Shirley and order baskets and need to do taxes but I will wait until hubby comes home and let him help me gather all the info.

I still need to decide on what OBC I want to add to my account before we go and estimate how much money we will need.

It seems my list is growing and not getting shorter.

I still need to get the Christmas Organizing materials together and send them down via Priority mail to the resort.

Oh now I am getting tired . . .

I had great plans but I can't seem to make them happen!! Every day flies by faster and faster



I swore that this trip would be different....I'd finally be organized and on time!


There's still time but it seems the hours slip by...and nothing big gets accomplished.

You have inspired me and scared me...I'll make a plan immediately and TRY to follow it!!!! I may need some Mickey magic to pull this off !

If it's any consolation...I am traveling for work right up until the day we leave. Will come running in the door, change clothes, grab suitcases and out we go. Ironically enough, I am at a conference next week in Orlando. I have meetings each evening and won't have a chance to get away to the World. Happy packing everyone!

Wow. Do you remember yesterday (I think) when someone (sorry - I forgot who) reported that they'd been upgraded from an 11ADA to an 8ADA (I think) and their dm was upgraded too? Well, we got the abandoned 11ADA! I finally faxed in dh's medical form today, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Cool, huh? True, we lose our upgraded porthole, but I think we'll be so happy with a little extra room for the wheelchair, plus safety bars and all! So the new room is 7631 - whoa! Even on the party floor! I'll change it on the spreadsheets.

Thanks for the condolences on dinner. I ended up cooking a new identical dinner (frittata; everyone has eggs, potatoes and onions. Not like it was steak or something) and cleaned up the floor while the 2nd version cooked. All ended up fed and happy.

I'm keeping the red for the non-DISers (tag-alongs). But the whole thing was too busy. And all the info was already on the lanyards - a bit redunandant. So I cleaned it up - I really wanted the 3 figures in the port holes to stand out, along with the ship & scroll (and sometimes Donald).

It's a lot easier to make this modification than it was to put all the names on the originals. (Mind you, I'm not complaining - I knew what I was getting myself into ).
