Bounceback

Okay, so we just got back from WDW 2 weeks ago, and they had a bounceback promotion (meaning with mealplan for 2008 same time next yr.) if you booked before leaving.....Well, we didn't, and I'm sorry we didn't. Now, I really want that promotion.....has anyone booked it after they got home?

We booked before we left because our check out date was 9/30 and the promotion ended 9/28. You can always call and ask. The worst they can say is no.

I've read of several people who were able to book after returning home. I don't know about 2 weeks later, but it doesn't hurt to try. If the first CM you talk to can't do it, you might try calling a couple of times.

And while the promotion was supposed to end 9/28, it was extended and now ends around 10/12. So call NOW. Well, first thing tomorrow morning. Good luck!

I'm gonna go ahead and put on my flame suit now....

We did book, they've "extended" the offer to Oct 12th according the those where on the Dis who have been recently returning.

When we tried to book the computers were down and we had to call back and book later on...our friends also tried to call and book that same morning, and Disney supposed to call my friends back since when the computers were working again...well, long story short they never called and my friends finally called and booked WAY after they checked out with a little prodding in their part...

so call and just say you couldn't book when you were there cause the computers were down and someone was supposed to call you back and didn't.

I know how some of the Dis like to crucify others for half-truths and not playing by the rules so flame away... my children are going to grow up to be morally vapid criminals and I am a bad person.

We just returned and they were still running the Bounceback. We did not book because the free dining was for dates in August - September which seems to be the time that Disney offers free dining ANYWAY, so we were worried that we would be returning during a really busy time and opted not to rebook at this point. I am going to keep watching and try to rebook for some time in late October/early November 2008.

I have friends that were there end August/early September and just called last week and were able to book. The said they weren't aware of the offer until they returned home. It was at least a month later and after talking to a supervisor, they were able to book. Keep trying!
