Bounceback question....

How does bounce back work? We go every year, but don't always know when we'll be going the next year. We want to look into using bounceback. Can someone explain how it works? Or point us to a thread that explains the rule/policies/regulations etc. for bounce back?

A bb is a discounted offer for a future stay that is only available to guests staying at a Disney resort and must be booked on or before your check out day. Information on the bb should be included in the welcome packet you get at check in. If you don't get anything, call X8844 from your room. If you book a bb and later find out you can't go, you can always cancel and get a refund as long as you cancel at least 45 days prior to arrival for a package and at least 5 days prior to arrival for RO. The deposit is the same as any other reservation ($200 for a package; 1 night's room rate + tax for RO). You can also make changes to a BB as long as what you want to change to is available under the BB (i.e., if you change dates, the new dates must have been included in the original BB; if you change resorts, there must be availability under the discount at the new resort, etc).

Excellent! Thank you for this information When we were there this summer, there wasn't any information in the room, so we weren't sure how it worked.

If you go before August, typically bounceback is only available for the remainder of the year, not the next year.

We were there last month and booked free dining bounce back for next August. The offer was not in the papers we got at check in, but was stapled in the middle of the "Be Our Guest" book that was inside the folder in the room. I didn't even see it for a few days until I started going through everything looking for it.

Yup and this is still the offer going on according to friends there right now. We go next week and I am hoping it's still happening so we can book it upon arrival!
