Bounceback question

I had never heard of Bouncebacks until I joined this board a few months ago. I don't know much about them, so forgive me if these are stupid questions.

IF we were to get an offer, can it be used at any resort, or does it have to be at the one we are staying at when we get the offer?

We are going with my parents this year (2 separate reservations) and one of our children is on their room. If we booked a bounceback, can it be for 5 people instead of the 4 that are on our reservation now? We are at POP this year, so if we went back next year sans parents, we'd need to book at another resort.

Can we book 2 rooms and then cancel one later if we need to and still keep the offer?

Do we have to book the same dates, or can we book any dates in the next 12 months?

1. You can book a bounceback for any resort - does not have to be the one you are staying at.
2. Yes. - The bounceback reservation doesn't have to be for the same number of people as the current reservation.
3. Yes - You can book 2 rooms with the bounceback and cancel one if you need to - and still keep the bounceback rate.
4. You do not have to book the same dates - However, the bounceback offers typically don't extend for a year out - the offer will have specific dates available. The bounceback flyer (typically in your welcome packet) will have the specifics.


One other important note - the bounceback offer must be booked while you are there. If you book a package, you will need to make the $200 deposit or the price of 1 nights stay if a room only.

I was telling DH what little I knew about bounceback the other day and he said "that would be VERY tempting to do". We weren't planning to go back for several years after this trip in Sept, so now I'm really crossing my fingers for an offer!

You are welcome. If for some reason you don't get a flyer there is an extension you can call from your room to find out if/what the bounceback is. I can't remember it though...It's a great way to get a great deal on a future trip.

Just wanted to add that if there isn't a BB offer in the welcome packet, call X8844 from your room and ask if there are any offers available .

My suggestion is to book even if you aren't planning on going back as once you leave, you are no longer eligible to book a BB, but you can always cancel or modify/change dates later (as long as the new dates are within the original BB offer) .
