bounceback question

we are going in may and oct. our adr's open in april. we are wanting to book bounceback for oct. when we are there in may. Can we make the adr's in april without a package booked? Then make the bounceback ressie when we are there in may? Or do we need to book now, then in may have them apply the bounceback to our current ressie? Would we loose our adr's cause it would be a new ressie when we apply the bounceback? tia

You can make ADRs without a resort reservation, but you would have to call every day to make them for each day of your trip. Having a resort reservation allows you to book at the 180 day mark for your first day, plus up to 10 days after. ADRs don't have anything to do with a resort reservation, so if you booked a package now to take advantage of the +10 for ADRs and applied the BB discount to your current ressie (or rebooked in May under the BB), nothing would happen to your ADRs.
