Bounceback question

I keep reading about people that are going on bounceback trips or something like that. Crazy question, but what is this?

Bounceback offers are offers that you qualify for if you book your reservation while you are still at Disney World, before checking out.

They usually have a free dining bounceback offer waiting in your hotel room if you visit during free dining. We do this offer every year because you just need to pay $200 upfront and you have the whole year to pay it off, then you don't have to worry about free dining being offered later.

Ugh! We went two times last year. I wish I had known, because we're planning on another trip later this year! Thanks for the info!... now I know to watch for this.

That stinks! If you are there during free dining and you don't have a bounceback flyer in your room, call anyway to make reservations. You can find out the current Bounceback Code here on the DISboards to use when you call.

Some people think you have to have the flyer, but you don't. And some people have asked the mousekeepers or the front desk and they tell them there is no offer.

After the first few days of free dining, people come here and report on any Bounceback offers, so keep an eye out in August.

A good tip is if you are interested in booking a BB offer, you should always call extension 8844 from your resort room BEFORE you check out to ask about any current BB offers.

Just be aware there are different BB offers. The current one is:

Get 20% off a Select Disney VALUE Resort: 1/3-1/14/2010, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-11/23, 11/28-12/24/2010

Get 35% off a Select Disney MODERATE Resort: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-11/23, 11/28-12/24/2010

Get 40% off WILDERNESS CABINS: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-11/23, 11/28-12/24/2010

Get 40% off a Select Disney DELUXE Resort: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-11/23, 11/28-12/24/2010

Get 45% off a Select Disney DELUXE VILLA Resort: 1/3-1/14, 1/18-2/11, 2/15-3/27, 4/11-7/1, 7/5-9/30/2010 (Offer excludes 3 bedroom grand villas).

Then usually when the Free Dining period starts in August, this one will expire and a new BB offer will open and it's usually to be able to book a Free Dining package a year ahead for the next years FD period (like Jenga1030 posted).

And then when that FD BB offer ends (which last year was Oct 24) another BB will begin and it will probably include dates through Dec 2010 and some 2011 dates and be for a room discount....
