Bounceback Question

Can someone who has booked a bounceback in September answer this, pretty please:flower3:

As far as I know, the bounceback offered in Sept was for the Free Dining for the next year. I think at the very end the percentage off bouncebacks were offered for various dates throughout the subsequent year

Currently, there are AP, FL resident, General Public as well as quite a few email pin offers for now through Dec 23. Some are room only, some a package.

I have an AP rate for ASMu starting Sept 27, for 64 per night for the first 2 nights, $54 for the next 4 nights and $74 for the last nights. I think that is pretty good.

If you make your bounceback reservation and make your required deposit, can you later make a change to the dates you are staying and still keep the big discount? Or do you lose the discount if you make any changes.

for me it does not have to be in Sept., just would like to get that discount on the room. However, I keep hearing that just free dining is offered to Sept guests. The question is do they ever offer % off the room for September bouncebacks, with specific dates. I am flexible with my dates, just not to flexible with my cash:rotfl2:

I can not wait for a last minute deal either, with 3 kids I kind of would like to be able to secure the deal early. That is why I want the bounceback!!!! off of the room. A family of 5 has few choices on a buget at Disney. The funny thing is some Deluxes allow 5 in their standard room. I would like the poly. I am holding off on the family suite at the value resorts, because when the kids get bigger, I think we will have to stay there for space reasons.

I would like to be able to stay in the Deluxes while they are small:)

One more question, how much of a discount is with the AP what is the percentage?:flower3: Thanks!:flower3:

We booked the bounceback while at Pop last year. Later in the year we adjusted our dates by a few days (added a couple of more), and still received the bounceback offer (it was the free dining for us). I think if the new date range you are looking for is still within the dates they were offering the bounceback, and they still have availaibility, you will be OK.

Hopefully someone else on the DIS will reply to you with their experience as well. I don't want to mess your vacation up if I just happened to have a more lenient CM!!

MJAJmom.........all4disney98 is correct :goodvibes. If you book the bounceback and want to change dates/resorts, you will still get the offer......but only if there is availability and the new dates are within the date range offered for the bounceback ;). You can still modify your ressie for dates outside the offer to avoid having to totally cancel and rebook, but you would lose the offer/discount.

I think I must not be very clear on what I am asking.

I do not want free dining

I am asking if ...

Has anyone been offered a bounceback when they WENT in September for a percentage off resorts, I do not care the time frame.

I care about the chance to get the offer of a percentage off a Deluxe resort.

Hopefully this time I was clearer than mud:rotfl:

I don't think so. Last September was the first time, at least that I can remember, Disney ever offered any sort of bouceback deal during that month. The only offer was free dining. Only after the free dining bouceback promotion was over did they change the bouceback promotion to percents off. This occured in mid-October.

We were at WDW in January and we were offered a bounceback offer for this September...not with free dining, just a reduced room rate. I booked but ended up having to cancel as the timing wouldn't work out for us. But YES, they do sometimes offer a bounceback room only for September.

Yipppeee, someone answered my million dollar question!!!!!!:dance3:

Can you tell me when in Sept. you got this offer? I will be there the 10th-21st;) Thanks Soooooooo much for answering my question. Pamela

I was there in mid January 08 when we received the bounceback offer. It was good for August and September but I don't remember the exact dates we could choose from. I think it was for about the same dates as the free dining but it was for "room only" discounts. Good Luck!
