I am curious about bouncebacks. We will be staying at AoA from Dec 3-7 this year. What are the chances of a bounceback offer being available at this time? And if there is a BB, is it likely to be a room discount or FD?? We are already interested in booking a 2013 trip while we are there this year. I read that BB's are not always offered, but curious about other experiences at that time if year! Thank you!

JMO, but based on previous years, I would say in December that the FD BB will probably have expired but you should have a good chance of getting a Room Only discount BB for 2013 dates. :thumbsup2

For example, last December (2011) the BB room only dates for the next year to choose from were: 1/1—1/5/12, 1/8—1/12/12, 1/16—2/8/12, 2/12—2/18/12, 3/4—3/10/12, 3/18—3/31/12, 4/29—5/26/12, 6/3—6/9/12, 8/5—10/6/12, 10/21—11/3/12, 11/11—11/17/12, 11/25—12/1/12 and 12/9-12/15/12.

Also note with a Room Only BB you will have to deposit the price of one nights stay (the $ amount will depend on your choice of resort), instead of a flat $200.00 like the FD BB requires.

:goodvibes

Are there any additional booking restrictions on a BB offer than a regular booking as far as the cancellation policy, etc.?

I am hoping for a room only discount! ;) I would prefer to go on a non-FD time. Thanks for the info!

Nope, cancellation policies are exactly the same. You do have to book before checking out though - you can't go home and mull it over. So you should be prepared with some dates, etc. before you call extension 8844 from your resort room to ask about BB offers. :thumbsup2

True. Also have more than one resort and one set of dates under consideration. When I was there last Nov/Dec I went down there planning on booking three bounceback deals for 2012. I was able to get the exact dates for my May trip, but not the resort. For my Sept trip, I had to move the dates back two weeks, and again had to switch resorts. I had originally planned on booking the third trip for the first week of Dec, but those dates were not included and I couldn't get either of the two weeks before, so round up booking a trip for late Oct/early Nov, and still wasn't able to get my last day, since Nov 4th was not included in the bounceback deal. I wanted the May trip at POFQ but had to go with CSR and I wanted the Sept trip at CSR, but had to go with POFQ, so I round up just flip flopping them. My point is, your exact dates and resort may not be available for the promotion, so go in being prepared to be flexible with both.

I have never done it, but I read somewhere else on here that you could book two rooms with a BB offer. :)

Does anyone know if booking a bounce back offer can you book two rooms with it?

You have to be a current guest at a WDW resort to book a BB (they do check this). So the only way would be for you to book one room and DH (or another adult in your room) could book the second. :)
