I have heard about being offered a special bounceback deal when you are on vacation....I have many questions
Who offers them or do you ask at your resort?
How quickly do you have to come back? Is a year the deadline?
Can you book or do you have to pay the $200 deposit that day?
What sort of deals were you offered and do you usually take them or wait for a better deal to come out directly from Disney?
Reason I ask is we are going in 2 1/2 wks and planning to return in April of 2010

You should get a flyer in your room, if it is being offered. If you don't have a flyer, ask the CM in the lobby to check. Watch the DIS for codes. Last year, I knew ahead of time that bounceback with free dining was being offered to current guests. A DIS posted posted the code. The Cm in the lobby was unaware, but when I gave her the code, it worked. This will be our 4th year to bounceback with free dining. You book and place a $200 deposit and come back during the timeframe offered. We were there in September 09 and going back September 2010. We suspected free dining would be offered to the public again, but it was nice to go ahead and book free dining so we could get the rooms we wanted.

The past 3-4 years there has been a free dining bounceback during the current free dining period. SOOOO if you go during free dining 2009 and want to go back from free dining 2010, this code might benefit you if it's offered again. Basically it gets you free dining now instead of having to wait until 2010 to see if it's offered again.
