Bounceback offer at tge end of august?

Just wondering if there is a BB offer the end of August for the following year? If so, what is usually offered? We are renting dvc points and would be interested in booking a BB offer (never knew they existed until reading dis boards so thank you!!)

I think the bounce back in August has usually been free dining for dates the following August/September. I booked our upcoming stay on a FD bounce back. The first date for 2014 was August 20th and I think it ran through September 26 or 29th? So this was the offer booked in 2013 for this year.

The current bounce back, which is a RO discount for various dates this year, I think I was told will expire at the end of July, so that is likely when the new bounce back will start.

I booked that BB offer last year as well. Cross my fingers for another FD BB this August.

May I ask a little more about bounce back as well? If the offer for next year is a FD Bounce back offer while I am in WDW in Aug 2014. May I ask whether I will paying rack rate for the room? Or will I be able to apply discount to that as well if there is discount offered in a later stage in the period I book the BB offer in? Is park ticket required as well like the public offer currently running? Thanks in advance

You will pay rack rate and you cannot stack offers with free dining. Generally you need to purchase a minimum of two day park tickets to take advantage of the offer.

Thanks for the reply. Taking this year's public offer as an example. What good is the Bounce back be except that I could get a room secure earlier than everyone else could (if I am for 31Aug or later). End of Aug deal for this year also FD (rack rate + 2 day park tickets).

Well if you do get a free dining bb offer and free dining is your preferred discount, you should book it because there is never a guarantee that a fd public offer will come out. Plus the fd bb offer starts Aug. 20 this year. The fd dining for the general public doesn't begin until Aug. 31.....so if travelling middle to the end of August is important to you, you should definitely book it.

That's true... I might take the offer and do split stay then. I don't really need that much food. But would like to go for a few character meals. I will be in WDW during Aug as well. Definitely will share the BB offer available then.

We will be there in October. Wondering if the BB deal at that time will also be for FD the following year? Is this common? Anyone know? If it is-- we will 100% be booking! Our son will be 3yo by then so the free dining is a great deal. (those character buffets add up!)
