Bounceback offer at campground

Can you book the BB offer from the campground?? If so will this work. A friend of mine who lives in Florida is going to the campground right now can she book two rooms with the bounceback one for her and one for my family and just cancel hers later??

Hopefully someone will know the answer before I ask her to do this. We are going in November and would love to get the 40% off. We were there last November but the BB wasn't being offered. Also anyone know the dates for BB for November.

I know I've read here on the DIS that people in the campground had been offered BB's. You could BB to resorts only (no BB back to campground sites, BB to cabins and resorts only) in the past. If she doesn't see any offer, she should ask at check in (tell her to tell them extension 8844 if they don't know what she's talking about )

The November dates for the current offer are 11/13/11-11/19/11, 11/27/11-12/3/11.

However, also in the past, the BB offers have been for current guests only and are nontransferable. So if it's the same this year and she wanted two rooms, she would only be able to book one room under her name and any other room would have to be booked under another current guest staying with her (like her DH). She couldn't book for someone who is not staying there at time of booking (and they do verify that you are a current guest when booking a BB). So based on previous BB offers, JMO but it would be a no go to have her try and put your name on a BB res.

But who knows if this has changed and what they're doing this year - wouldn't hurt to try I guess
