Not sure what you mean by the bolded part. To qualify for a BB, it doesn’t matter if you stay on a room only reservation or a package, just that you stayed. You have 7 days after you depart to call to book a BB offer. And, it doesn’t change anything if the BB is booked as a package or room only, unless you ask and are pretty adamant, they will book it as a room only package (you can add tickets or the DP). It’s just a lower deposit and the cancellation period is 30 days instead (for a package) while room only is one night deposit and 8 days (I believe that’s the new room only cancellation window). Club rooms have been more difficult to get with the offer because it’s only a limited number of rooms in each category. Even if the room type you want shows available online, it might not be available to book as part of the BB offer. And just because you have a Club room booked, they may not apply the BB offer to it, especially if Club bookings are strong. And it could change over time, too as inventory changes. You can keep calling back to see if anything does change and it could apply. Consider it a great surprise if you are able to apply it to your Club reservation, but don’t expect it.
