Bounceback Free Dining Extended

I was told at the front desk of ASMovies that booking the bounceback has been extended until Oct 12. I am leaving tomorrow but will try to pick up a flyer indicating the extended deadline so I can scan and post it.

We just returned on Sept 30th...never saw a mention of a Bouncback program @ Music...Hmmmm

Oh well..I'm hoping next year more people will come with us, so I guess we just have to wait and see what they offer Disney Visa members and the general public again.

I would LOVE for this to mean you can extend your stay through October. We were told you have to be checked out by the 28th of Sept. But I THINK this means it is extended for booking the bounce back program. So those staying there through the 12th can still book it.

We were at POP from Sept 21 thru 30.When we arrived the flyer was in our room. It said you had to sign up by Sept. 28 and you had to be staying at the resort at the time. Around the 28 of Sept they extended the time you had to book to Oct. 14 . But I think this was only booking for the month of Sept of 2008 and any days that would extend into October. So anyone going down to WDW now thru Oct. 14 should be able to book next Sept. If now flyer is in the foom go to the front desk. Need $200 up front but is refundable up to 45 days out from your booked dates. And that is why we did sign up for next year cause you can cancel and or make revisions and being a year away you never know what may come up, but we didn't want to pass up the free dining cause it was great. Great food, great service a little hot in the a-noon but spent most of that time of day in the pool.

I would like to know the details as well... we like going in oct and booked as far to the end of the sept offer as we could... I have booked bounceback and understand as long as you are booked and th epromotion is still running you can make changes...

I called CRO this morning and she said that the promotion for free dining can't flow over to October (for your length of stay) You still have to be out by the end of Sept.

Okay we were there 9/29-10/2 and heard no mention of this. Think I can call and book bounceback for next year???? Anyone have the phone number or who I need to talk to? I wish they would have told all guests about this in their rooms or on the tv channel.

I booked the package for 9/27-10/7 and there was no problem. I believe the flyer even said you just have to check in by 9/28/08 and it is only good for up to 10 nights.

The number to call while in your room is ext. 8844. You just have to be a registered guest and call before checking out (the new deadline for booking is Oct. 12 I believe). A deposit of $200 by credit card is required for booking, and they will verify you're checked in.

From what I've read on the DIS, there was a brief mention of the promotion on resort TV, as well as flyers/letters in some rooms and possibly on resort restaurant receipts. This promotion has been discussed since August here on the DIS and mentioned on Mousesavers.com.

I have read that some guests who didn't know about the promotion have called after returning home - some were able to book it and some were not.

The dates of the 2008 promotion are 8/30 - 9/27/08, and I have read that people were able to book with dates checking in before 9/27/08 and extend into October.

On Sept 19, 2007, just after I checked in, I walked straight to my room picked up the phone and dialed 8844, I booked Sept 26 - Oct 10, 2008. 14 nights that began during the program and ended after the program. The flyer I received (I have it in front of me) does not mention 10 nights, but I know there is a lack of consistency for their promotions. I would call until you get a CM who knows what I did can be done. Last year, for 2006's program I was told I couldn't flow over, didn't book called right back and got someone who could do it. This yr, for 2007, I was told it was only for 10 nights by a CM and booked, then read on the boards you could do it for 14 called back and extended.... Often the rules change as the program goes along. sometimes people just don't know and don't try... be assertive, BUT NICE, and ask them to try, they may learn something new. Things change so quickly I sympathize with the CM's, but don't let that shortchange your vacation!

Thank you so much! We went last year as well and checked in the last day of the promotion, but were able to carry our free dining into October! So I was disappointed when we couldn't do that this year and possibly next year. We had so much fun doing food and wine I thought it would be GREAT to do that again. I will keep trying. You never know what may happen!!!

I was able to book checking in the last day of the promotion and running it over into October too. Not an issue...and our ressies reflect the free dining for all nights.

Just so that I understand this right.. this is for either free dining or the deluxe dining for the price of the regular dining plan, right?

Also, I'm wondering if we'd get a discount if we were to book a premium or platinum package too? Or just DDP or DxDDP?

I'm sure of this - I did a spreadsheet of my possible options for next year before I even went on this year's trip - and my trip (9/22 - 10/2) costs exactly what I calculated, including the Deluxe Dining Plan. If that CM were correct, my quoted price would have been about $114 higher than my calculations. And, well, it's not.

Not exactly. It's for the Basic Dining Plan free, or the Deluxe Dining Plan discounted the cost of the Basic Plan - so DDP = free and DxDDP = $32 per adult per night.
