Bounceback for 2010...We just got back today. This is 100% accurate information...

We are checking out of VWL today. We booked 2 bb: May and December. In May we're staying at BLT and bringing our sitter with us. In December we're staying CL Poly. Great deals on both places!!! We never had a bb card in our room, so I called extension 8844 and booked through that.

Does anyone know if there is a way for me to find an exp date for this bounce back, can I try to call someone at Disney. I have booked bounce back in the past and know it is done from the room, is there one at the regular reservation number that may know?

I am a click away from sending DH down for a night. Yes, it may sound crazy but the savings is well worth it for us.

TIA

When are you going to be down there for your trip ? There is no exp "book by" date on the card I have.

"JUST BOOK YOUR RESERVATION AND MAKE A DEPOSIT (ONE NIGHTS ROOM RATE PLUS TAX) ON OR PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK OUT DATE.

If you want to call Disney, I would call this bounceback phone number on the card. 407-541-5515. Code OKR. Tell them the truth and your dilemna. Ask them if they have an expiration date and its just not printed on the card. The regular WDW Reservation number will have no information about the BB.

These are the block out dates on the card.....

Dec 25 (08) - Jan 2 (09)
Jan 15-17
Feb 12-14
Mar 28 - Apr 10
July 2-4
Nov 24-27
Dec 25 - Dec 31.

Basically the WHOLE summer is available. This bounceback is just like the year long PIN code people have gotten. However, there is no Expiration date on the card.

BTW...your Packers are going to smoke the Bears tomorrow. Hester is not playing. It may get ugly. :scared1:

Yep, I paid $82 for a one-night stay in a value just to save $1200 for our Dec. 2010 trip. Well worth the savings...:yay:

I love BB.

I'm hoping there will be a good one when we go over Memorial Weekend next year. I'm planning a solo trip for early Dec. and with the BB I could stay at BWI which I've always wanted to do.

Thanks to everyone who responed to my questions...

I booked for DH to arrive on the 18th in hopes of getting this deal. I would have sent him earlier but I have to fly out tomorrow for work.

I called the number for the bounceback and she "thinks" it will be good until the Christmas break starts.

If anyone sees anything different, please yell.

Thanks.

What does she consider "Christmas break" to be? I would think that would start the 18th or 19th since many schools get out after the 18th. I am hoping and praying it will last until I get there on the 20th.

I got back home today actually and called 407-541-5514. I was quoted the following prices for one night in Feb (a Friday add-on to a DVC stay): Yacht Club $330 (Reg rate $551) after I stopped laughing I asked for value rates and got standard of $126 at Pop. I didn't realize Feb was peak.

Do we know if the BB is still going strong, holding out for Friday night.

Thanks for any new information.

I had a bounceback offer in my room @ the Grand Floridian. Instead of a card with a clock on it, our card just said in really big letters "An Invitation for Guest of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa", then in very small print it said "We are pleased to present an opportunity for you to save up to 45% on your next Disney Resort stay. See back for details".

Our offer was 40% off deluxe and 45% off Villas. We booked for 10/16/10-10/23/10 @ the Grand Floridian as we all fell head over heels in love with it. :lovestruc I can't wait to go back!!!

Good luck to everyone! Even if you don't receive a bounceback offer in your room, it can't hurt to call and try anyway pixiedust:

Anyone have a copy of what the bounceback looks like??

Also...

We are going to Disney in February. We have a trip booked for September 2010, that we booked in September 2009 (free dining bounceback). Instead of going in Sep 2010, we want to wait until early December. If I call the bounceback hotline in February, will they change the date to December and apply this discount? (taking the free dining discount away) That way the deposit will carry over. :confused3 All this is assuming that they are still offering this BB.

With the help of everyone here we saved over $1200 on our November trip. I sent the DH on a 24 hour round trip whirlwind of a trip which he actually spend 5 hours sleeping at the Pop to get us the discount.

One word of caution that I did not know, he could not apply the discount to our previous reservation because Dreams Unlimited was handeling our reservation. To make a long story short, it was a Saturday when he attempted to change the reservation, his flight leaving in a few hours, and after speaking to her manager the CM gave us until after check out time to change the reservation due to Dreams being an online service and us not being able to contact them immediately. The CM was very nice. I have no suggestions on how you would get around this, other than canceling your current reservation before leaving.

And as for what the BB looked like, it is shaped like a clock (yes cut out to look like a clock) and is gold colored (think mans pocket watch). There is currently no date on it for when the BB ends. I remember in the past when we used BB for FD, there was a "book by" date but this has nothing like that.

Rumor has it that there will be a new promotion tomorrow, I have no idea how this will effect BB.

I forgot to add, that our deposit just moved over... no need to pay the $200 again and wait for a refund on the old reservation

Good Luck.

We are not booked through any type of TA, I just called the bounceback line when we were there. If they cannot change the dates and apply this bounceback code, I guess I would just have to book a new reservation and cancel the old one. I wouldn't think that would be necessary though!

That's awesome that you saved $1200!! :cool1:

Yay!! I'm so glad it worked out! It really is worth just going one night for. :yay:

Thanks for any new information.

We just got back from WDW last night (12/20/09). The card with the bounceback offer with the clock on it was still in the room when we left. I booked three trips for 2010 using the bounce back. I'll be at PORS May 1st-9th, at CBR Oct 30th-Nov 7th, and at CSR Dec 4th-12th. I got 35% off each and only had to buy a one day MYW base ticket for each (I'm an AP holder).:cool1: I also already had a bounceback free dining reservation for Sept 25th-Oct 3rd, that I booked when I was there in Sept. I'll be canceling either the free dining trip in Sept or the 35% off trip in Oct/Nov. Which one I use will depend on if it is a solo trip or if my husband decides to come. With two people in a moderate, the free dining is a better deal, but for a solo the 35% off is a better deal. Besides I'm hoping an AP discount will beat the deals I've got now. If so, I will cancel all four of my bounceback reservations and rebook three trips with an AP discount. lol Regardless, I'm very happy I'm going to the Flower Festival, the Food and Wine Festival, and for the Christmas decorations, all with at least some kind of a discount.:cool1:

The bounceback offer in my room wasn't shaped like a clock; it was a rectangle. I do have a photo of it (front and back), so if anyone would like me to email it to them (I don't have it saved on-line anywhere so I can't post it on this board) just PM me and I will :)

The BB in our room at the GF wasn't a clock either. It was a rectangle with some scrollwork or something on it, I believe. Same info though. I booked a BB for November, 2010 and applied the code to an existing reservation for July, 2010. Easy-peasy. Saved about $1100 off our July stay at the Yacht Club.

Is there a bounceback offer for values too? I think all the previous discussion has been about mods or deluxes.

Yes there was a bounce back offer for values, it was 20% off selected dates. Same dates that were offered for Moderate and deluxe.
