How many years in a row have they offered bounceback? :confused3

I am going for free dining this year and would love to take the opportunity to book for next year right away. That would give us the ability to pick our trip, and do our ADR's well in advance (180 days)- maybe I can FINALLY get LeCellier! :cheer2:

Do you guys think they will offer it again to free diners? If I don't find a flyer in my room- should I just ask the front desk about it?

That's what I plan to do, ask at the desk. We were there last year during free dining, but weren't on it. Never knew about the bounceback until months later, having read about it here. We rarely turn the television on at WDW, so if I don't see a flyer, I'll be asking at the front desk each day, until I'm given a definitive answer. Booking bounceback would be so much less of a hassle and stressful as it was this year to book it.

They have offered Free DDP bounceback during free DDP season. however, they have also offered room discounts like 30% off mods and 40% of deluxes during other times of year as bounceback.

I don't think they do free DDP bounceback during any other time of year than when the free DDPers are already there though.

How much is the discount for free DDP? Is it just the ability to book in advance or is there some other discount?

Well, we have 2 adults going so 37.99x2 = 76 bucks. Our room cost per night including taxes is 93...so if we put even 1 more adult, it's practically like DW is paying US to come to DW.

Well, I understand free dining. I mean is there any other discount for booking through bounceback or is it just that you are getting your choice so far in advance before it is released?

No, it's just that you get to book it before anybody else. If you are one of those frequent travelers that has a DW credit card or other options available to you, it might not be a big deal to you, but I'm just a regular person, no pins, no special affiliations so I have to wait til the code is given to the general public.

By then, we are at less than 180 days out for sure, so getting prime ADRs is next to impossible. This year we just booked 2 days ago with the free dining. We are unable to get the place I really wanted (and have never been to due to trouble getting ANY adr there, LeCellier)

The good thing about booking bounceback 1 year in advance for us is that we can get our pick of resorts with free dining and we can have it all planned out so I can do ADRS at 190 days out and get the places we truly want instead of being stuck.

Oh, ok. Well, don't give up hope on LeCellier. I booked our September trip last Wednesday and thought I'd have no hope too. Yesterday morning I called to cancel another ADR and told the reservationist that I knew it was a real longshot, but could he check LC for any day of my trip. He chuckled and said "You never know, let's check.". A minute later, he said in disbelief "You are not going to beleive it, but I have a 7:50pm on 9/14 for your party size at LeCellier. There must have just been a cancellation. Would you like to book that reservation?" Of course I jumped on it! I couldn't beleive my ears. It was true Disney magic. LOL! Don't give up yet...I'm still trying for 1900 Park Faire and Coral Reef. Then, I'll have my dream line-up!
