Bounceback - can you add a day or change dates??

As long as the new dates fall within the original dates of the bounce back offer.

Can you cancel a BB offer reservation? I never booked one, but I thought if it was a good deal I would book it and see if we can organize a trip then.

Same cancellation rules apply as they do for any reservation: 5 days for room only; 30 days for a package.

Also, it is harder to change a bounceback reservation that it used to be. You can no longer just drop or add days. There had to be availability for the new length you are trying to book. Ex: if you book 7 nights but want to change to 5, there has to be a 5 night reservation available. You can not just drop 2 nights off the existing reservation.

The current bounceback reservation is a room discount. No definite end date, but usually the room discount is valid until mid- late August when free dining for the following year is offered. This has been the pattern for the last several years. Anyone's guess what will happen this year. There is a thread on the discount board with the dates & percentages.

You can cancel anything within the normal rules. In fact we cancelled our last bounce back when it conflicted with our Son's school year. Just remember there is a charge - a large dose of disappointment that you had to cancel your Disney trip.

Oh we're definitely not canceling - just airfare to stay until a Monday vs Sunday is $400 cheaper and offsetting against the room cost it wouldn't be that much of a difference and we get to stay another day.

We had the same issue with our bounceback in 2015. Unfortunately nothing was available- they actually cancel your existing reservation and make a new one. So we stayed one night at Art of Animation. It was actually cheaper to book one night in a value and fly in one day earlier. We'd rather give that money to Disney than the airline! The next day we just cabbed it over to the Grand Floridian with our luggage, but you can also let Disney transfer your bags! Easy!

I would recommend calling the same number you called to book the bounceback offer. I had to modify room types for ours and had no luck calling twice through the regular reservation line. I then called the bounceback line and was able to do so successfully without losing the promotion.
