Heading to The World soon...and hoping for bounceback. Question...can I use bounceback for booking 2 rooms? One for myself and one for a friend...as long as both rooms are in my name and a deposit is paid on my cc for both? And is bounceback generally for returning, around the same time next year?

You can book up to three rooms on a discount, but you cannot book multiple rooms under the same name. You can use the same credit card.

I don't understand why Disney would have you use different names when you need two rooms? ...and yet you can use the same credit card on both resort, but has to have different names on the reservations?

Is this mean that I can put one of my kids name on the second room since I am already using my name for the first room? TIA.

I don't think the 3 room limit applies to BBs as any number of adults in a room can book a BB, but BBs don't apply to people not staying on property at the time. If there are 4 adults staying in one room, each of those adults can book a BB. BBs are offered for people staying at a Disney resort at the time, giving them a chance to book a future trip at a discount. A person can't book a BB for someone that is not there as that person is not eligible since they are not on property, therefore, not entitled to the discount. Disney has always verified that I was indeed checked into a Disney resort whenever I have called and booked a BB. As far as putting your kids on a BB reservation.....you could book in their name IF they are adults (18 or older); otherwise, no.

So does this mean I can book two rooms under my name since my kids are under 18? or how does it work? Another question... We are staying at POR and if here is a BB, do we have to book a room at POR or can we choose another resort like AoA or POP? Sorry.. I've never done the BB. Thanks.

You can book bounceback for 2 rooms but each room must be in an adults name who is at Disney at the time of booking. I booked 2 rooms last year for this year. First I had to confirm I was on Disney property and that both adults booking were on the reservation. I booked one room in my name with DDIL name added and one room in DH name with both DS's names. Since both of us were on property we were able to add other names to our reservations. I used the same credit card for both rooms, and changed the names later. If you are the only adult on your reservation then you will only be allowed to book one room, if DH is with you you can book 1 in your name and one in his.

If you are the only adult in the room, you would only be allowed to book 1 room. You do not have to book the resort you are currently staying at. With that said, as with any promo/discount, not every resort or room type is offered so the one you want might not be available, but you can choose any resort as long as it's offered under the BB and has availability. HTH :).

Oh perfect....thanks for clarifying. I wasn't sure how that worked either. We have 3 adults staying in one room, so we should be fine. Thanks!

Thank you mickeynut1 and Nohal for your thorough explanation. I appreciate it. :)

You can book for any resort that has availabilty on the bounceback, but if you are the only adult in the room, they will only let you book one room. I go solo some, and have been told that I can book only one bounceback room per date, because there were no other adult in the room with me. Now I can book more than one bounceback, but only one room per set of dates. For example, when I was there last Dec I went down there knowing I was going to book three trips for 2012. I booked a room only bounceback for May 5th-13th, Sept 1st-8th, and Oct 27th-Nov 3rd. The May trip was for CSR and the Sept and Oct trips were at POFQ (I was staying at CSR at the time). I had to pay a room deposit for each bounceback deal (so three separate deposits), but I was able to book trips for three different dates. I wanted two rooms for the Sept trip, but was told that since there was not a second adult in the room, during my current reservation, that I could only book one room per trip.

That makes sense! Thanks for clarifying. I didn't think BB's would be different than regular discounts.
