If you're referring to the free dining bounce back. I know last year it was offered only to people staying onsite during free dining. You had to call them and book your ressie for '08 dining from your hotel room.

There are also some room discount Bouncebacks that have been offered at various times - you have to be a guest at a Disney resort at the time to be able to book and have to book and put a deposit down before checking out.

You never know if one will be offered during your stay or not. You should check here on the DIS right before you leave for your Disney trip to see if there are posts stating there is one going on, or not. Then there should also be a flyer in your resort room, or on the resort TV, telling you about the offer - usually you have to call an extension from your room (lately it has been extension 8844 )

This offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts, and could end at any time.

Using a special phone number provided on a flyer provided in some resort rooms, you can book a room for stays during selected 2008 low season dates (in January, February, March, April, August and September), at a Walt Disney World resort and receive a discount of 20% off rack rates at Value resorts; 30% off rack rates at Moderate and Deluxe resorts; or 40% off rack rates at DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts.

The specific dates reported so far include:

You'll have to look up the history of promos to find out when it's usually offered. Seems they started with it in Jan/Feb a few years back and have since added on some similar promos in Sept and other months.

The bounceback promo fliers are supposed to be in every room when they're being offered. This last vacation though we had 3 rooms, 2 DVC and 1 WL. The first DVC room did not have the flier, the second did and the WL "hotel" room did also.

If you know there's a bounceback promo going on and you don't have the flier - call around. In addition to the dates & discount types that may be available listed on it, there is a specific number to call as well as a code it you'll need. I'd start with housekeeping as they're the ones who are supposed to put them in the rooms.

BTW - reservations will look you up in the system by confirmation number to make sure you are staying on-site & are eligible. When my CM found me I was astounded when he read off all the linked info he had on me nothing bad - just funny as I had booked DVC rooms for friends and ordered the WDW DVD as "kids" - their system keeps ~everything~

Does anyone know if the 40% off Villas is for only certain DVC resorts? Or is it for ALL of the resorts? I'd be interested in BCV but am thinking it might only be available at SSR & OKW.

It's for all DVCs in the WDW area providing there are discount-tagged rooms still available. Mind they've tossed in a disclaimer that it's for Sun-Thurs nights. I did manage to book one Wed-Mon at the same 40% off rate for each night, so I think if you start your stay before the Friday the discount will carry through the weekend.

Hey there - I went to POR for a quick weekend trip a couple of weeks ago and there was a sale piece on the table. I booked the Poly for $238 a night (plus tax of course) for 9/20 - 9/27. The rack rate is $340 - so that's pretty darn good I'd say.
