Bounce back when rates aren't announced

How does bounce back work (or is it even available) if you visit in the spring/early summer before the following year is available to reserve? For example, we'll be there in May 2015, but since packages aren't available for 2016 until July or August, does that mean any bounce back is room only or only for 2015 dates?

Yes, if there's a BB at that time, it would be for remaining dates in that year, not the following year.

This is correct. BB's for the following year usually don't come out until sometime in the fall, with the exception of FD, which is usually offered as a BB in September for the following year in September.
