Can I book a BB for one week and my wife book one for another week? I know I would have to pay both deposits, but we can either travel the week of Thanksgiving or the week before Christmas. We won't know the week we can travel until later in the year.

Or can a BB date be changed? I will make it for the week before Christmas and change it to the week of Thanksgiving if I have to.

Yes, you can change dates, resorts, room type, etc. You just have to book and a put a deposit on a reservation the day you check out. Everything else can be changed later, depending on availability.
