Bounce back possible when staying on Points?

Does anyone know or has anyone tried to get a bounce back offer while staying at DVC on points?

We leave in 6 days for OKW for the first time using our DVC membership but since we are bringing Mom and Dad we are borrowing points from next year so we were hoping to get one of the free dining bounce back offers for next year staying at POP.

While at BWV a few weeks ago on points, there was a Bounceback flyer in my room. I didn't try to book anything, but the offer was there.

I think if you get a bounce back rate (usually around 40% off rack rate) you do not qualify for free dining.

The free dining is usually only available if you pay full rack rate.

I just left BCV last sunday and the BB offer was in my studio.

I remember SSR was $87 per person ($2,088) for a family of 4 for 6 nights. That was dining, parks, and room.

The next offer was $2800 for 4 for BC.

I didnt book either.

Well that would work also since I will be getting the Tables in Wonderland Card and we can use the disount at POP's food court.

We were at BWV last month on points and got the bounce back for next fall at SSR - WITH free dining and a 30% room discount. It's less than 40%, but I'll take it - it's definitely not rack rate. I ran the numbers for myself and I called after we got home to check on it - to find out exactly how much the room component is. The CM went through the breakdown and it's a 30% room discount. The confirmation letter, well, confirms it .

We wanted a trip next fall without using points, so the villa discount alone would have done it. The free dining is a nice bonus. We're pretty excited about trying SSR for the first time (DH wants to check out the Treehouses). And I suppose I can put up with daily housekeeping. We'll definitely be doing the Cali Grill again.
