Would someone please explain this to me? What is the savings, etc.

We're going in May but staying off-site. Are we eligible for any of the bouce-back deals if the next time we go we want to stay on-site?

The bounceback offers are for guests staying at a Disney Resort.

I have a bounceback from last year for the free dining this year.

For any of the bounce-back offers you must be staying at a Disney owned and operated Resort and you must make your reservation and deposit before you check out.

Dang, thanks anyway! We'll have to keep our eyes out for other offers instead.

So say the OP WAS staying onsite. What kind of deals are we talking about?

I believe it's just an early incentive to book. You get in on free dining before the general public does. Not sure about a better deal on the room though. Hopefully someone will come along and let ya know. Of course, I'm only referring to the free dining bounce back....

How do you find out about a bounceback offer. We have stayed onsite 2 times and have never been offered one. Is it because we always travel during the peak (easter) season due to work and school schedules?

We have been to Disney 5 times since 2001(2 times in 2008)always at Fort Wilderness and have never received any offers of any kind. Do these come by email, mail or do you just ask when you call to make a ressie and just hope and pray? I think we have been enough to get something besides free napkins....oops:eek: wasn't supposed to say that:rolleyes1 !

When we were there in Sept. there was a bounceback offer in our room. Just an ad laying on the table. It could easily be overlooked as junk if you don't read it. We didn't take advantage of it.

We were there in November and we asked the Front Desk. They sent an offer to our room within the hour.

I did get the bounceback a full day after checking out!

I don't know if they had noted in my reservation that I wanted to do the bounceback but was unable to do so before they closed for the night. But the next day we had to leave before they reopened and spent the whole day traveling home so I called the following morning for the bounceback and was able to get it.

Not everyone gets a flyer in their room, but if you watch the WDW info TV channel, under the Resorts part, you'll see a screen that says, "For a 'HOT DEAL' call #8844!!" You call that special number from your room and you can ask what the bounceback special is. The last 2 years during Free Dining, it's been Free Dining for the next year, so you have it before it's offered to the general public. Other times it's room discounts of 20-30%.

Anyone who is staying in a Disney resort qualifies for whatever bounceback is offered; it has nothing to do with whether you get a flyer in your room or in your welcome packet.

Does the campground count or are we just second class citizens? :confused3 Considering the cabins cost the same as WL or AKL and some campsites cost more than Value & Mod. resorts, you would think they could stick an offer either in my envelope or at least on the tree at my campsite?!?!?!?:lmao: :rotfl:

Silly question!

Is the bounceback always for the same resort you are staying in or can you choose where to stay? So say you were staying at a moderate could you bouceback to a deluxe?

I'm sure you can get the bounceback offer if you are staying in the cabins. You can see the Resort TV just like any other guest. If you are staying in a campsite, I still think you would qualify for a bounceback because you *are* a registered guest of a WDW Resort. It would just be harder to know what the bounceback special is, and where to call to get information. IME, the front desk personnel and conceirge don't always know about the offers.

You can choose where you want to stay and are not tied to the same resort or resort level. If you are staying at CSR, you could book Pop or Poly, subject to availability for your dates, of course. Only a certain number of rooms are released at each resort.

Hope this helps!

Since we have two TV's in our camper:eek: unlike most other guests at the *other* resorts, we have Resort TV too!!!:rotfl: The offers say look in your room....well I don't see any offers on my bed........or bedbugs for that matter!:lmao:

When we check in we get the same envelope as everyone else since we *are* actually on Disney property. At checkout the CM places an envelope on your camper door or on your tow vehicle with your final bill and any information you requested. They have plenty of opportunity to give you an offer when you are staying at the campground if they choose, I guess I just haven't been that lucky!......although they did offer an iron one time.......... :rotfl2: :rotfl:
