Bounce Back offered again

We returned from our trip to Disney on 9/15/07 and while there, they were offering the free dining bounce back program.

We're booked for free dining Sept. 2008

So you had to book the new Magic Your Way package to get that?
I haven't read up on the new dining plan yet.

I wonder if they will open up the free dinning to everyone again ? We received a special code in 2005 for free dining. I was so excited because I thought we were receiving something special, and then a few weeks later they opened it up to everyone. I suppose it will depend on how many bookings they get with the bounce back program.

Yup, you have to book while you are there and before you check out, which must be on or before Sept. 28th. You also have to make a $200 deposit when you book.

What is bounce back dining? I've not heard of it before...

Bounceback would be great if they extended this offer until December (which won't happen, but it'd be nice).

We booked the bounce back plan when we where down August 30-September 2. The CM I spoke with said that they were not going to offer free dining to the general public next year. Instead, they are only offering it to the people who use it. She said that this was due to a large number of people calling and booking when the special was first offered, and then canceling at the last min. The hope is to avoid "holding" up rooms that could otherwise be booked.

I don't know how much of this is true . . . not to insinuate that she was lying . . . but from my experience, not all CMs have the same and most accurate information. There have been times I have called and been told one thing and called right back and been told something different.

I just thought I would pass the info along.
