Hi,
Just returned from a week at POFQ and already want to return! The Bounce back offer in my room is 30%off on rooms for moderate in 2025 during the time I would return. I have never booked a bounce back, I know there is no way to know if a future Disney promotion would be better, but I do not recall one this good. I have always booked a package, one stop shopping! Since this is room only, I obviously order tickets separately. Is there a legitimate place to get them at discount? Has anyone had issues linking them to magic bands. Does Disney offer specials on just tickets? My apologies if this has been posted before or if I am in the incorrect forum. i look forward to your replies. Thank you!

I always book room only and buy my tickets through Undercover Tourist. They are a legit Disney ticket retailer that offers a modest discount on Disney tickets. I have never had any issues linking them and actually got a refund once when I bought tickets at one price and then the prices lowered later (before use, of course). I've never seen Disney offer tickets at a discount. Hope this helps!

Just a heads up, the only park ticket you should buy is through Disney or an authorized Disney travel agent. It’s not as bad as it use to be but stay away from the discount Disney ticket gas station type places, you will get ripped off.
The ticket prices will fluctuate pending on the time of year you go.
I don’t deal with bounce back offers but just read the small print, you should be able to book the discount offer and if something better comes around, which I don’t think you will find anything better, you should be able to cancel what reservation you have and take advantage of a new offer.

Hi, Like I mentioned, I usually purchase the package, seems easier for me. May I ask why you do not deal with the bounce back offers? have you had bad experiences?

Bounceback offers are very good. My wife just got back from Port Orleans-Riverside yesterday and we are interested in going back for a Mardi Gras trip next March. They just came out with the early discounts for next year and the discount for moderates is 25% vs. 30% for the Bounceback. There is also a package deal with tickets that I will have to do the math on.

Wee have not bought tickets through Disney for a long time now. I encourage you to visit mousesavers.com to see their recommendations on tickets. There are also deals If you are also a member of Sam's or Costco. We have always saved money on tickets this way. Once you have the tickets, they are very easy to link to your MDE account. I hope this helps.

There are several reputable officially authorized ticket resellers online, Undercover Tourist is the most famous one but rarely do they ever have the best deals unless you catch them on one of their Black Friday specials or the Adult ticket for Child price deals they have from time to time. Touring Plans has a ticket calculator tool on their website that will show you what use date and which site will give you the best pricing for your desired dates. https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/ticket-calculator

Personally I have never bothered with packages, even before I became an AP. They’re “easier” in the sense your upfront cost is less and you can space out your ticket payments with the room, but you can do that just as easily with Affirm nowadays. You will virtually almost always come out ahead buying components separately. Go ahead and book the BB, you can always move to another discount if a better one becomes available.

I had planned on asking them if they also have a package discount. They can probably do pretty much anything if it means another booking. It benefits all involved!

We rarely book packages and we have found that the BB offers were always as good and in a lot of times better than other WDW offers.

Book it.
You can book a PACKAGE with tickets. No need to buy tickets separately.
Its unltiley a better percentage off will come as the BB is generally the best price.
However if something else that's better does come along you can always call back and modify it to that promo.
There is basically no risk involved when you book the BB.

There are rarely discounts better than 30%.

And you can still book it as a package. The 30% just comes off the room portion.

I had no idea you could book a package! That makes total sense that the discount will be on the room portion. Goes to show, all the years and many many trips to Disney, you never stop learning!!

I would book the bounce back as a package with tickets. Yes, you can probably find tickets separately for a bit cheaper, but if you need to cancel your trip, you’re not on the hook for the tickets, if you combine the tickets into a package.

Be sure to find out what the price of the bounce back is and compare that to renting DVC points. From previous experience, its sometimes cheaper to rent than pay for a moderate.

I'm not sure how renting points works exactly but personally I'm unwilling to book something that comes with strings attached in case I need to change or cancel. Just my opinion.

Oh no, no bad experiences at all. I think they are great. Grab the bounce back offer and purchase tickets separately. I would check with whoever you buy your packages with, give them your dates and compare it to if you buy it separately. I have been a DVC member for over 25 years and live up the street from the place, that’s why I haven’t dealt with those offers. But 30 percent off is a pretty good deal.

Book the bounceback! With our without tickets. It's been the best room discount for a while now. I have an AP and the bounceback offers have even beat the AP discounts lately.

Remember, you have 7 days from checkout to book it, so don't delay. And you can always change it later if your dates change and still get the bounceback rate.
