Bounce Back in August?

We are visiting WDW in August (right before FD) and I'm curious about the bounce back offers I've been reading about. Are these always offered or only sometimes? Are they for visits in a few months or up to a year away? Any more details you can share? Thanks!

BB's are not always offered at all times, but odds have been pretty good lately that you will get one. Call extension 8844 from your resort room before check out to book a BB and place your deposit.

It all depends on the BB being offered at the time, and what dates Disney marketing is trying to fill. The best thing to do is to check here on the DIS right before you go and someone will have the details on any current BB offers posted.

For example, the current BB going on right now has certain dates through December 2010. Based on last year that BB may change to a different BB when the FD period begins, because last year the BB offered during FD (starting on 8/16/09) was to be able to book a return package trip a year in advance for the next years FD dates. Then on October 24 (2009) last year, that BB expired and a new BB began for room discounts that included dates in the next year.

So depending on when you go the BB you get could either be for visits in a few months, during next years FD, or certain dates next year - and you might not get the one you hoped for, so be prepared for that too and don't be too disappointed.

Oh and remember you can always cancel but you can't book a BB after you check out!
