Boulder Ridge boat launch

If taking a boat from Boulder Ridge to Magic Kingdom, would I board a blue, or green or red launch? What is the difference between the 3? Does one go directly to Magic Kingdom? Do they operate during early magic hours or during extended late night hours? Thanks for your assistance.

Yes, one boat goes to MK. The others make the circuit of WL, Ft. Wilderness, and the Contemporary. I don’t know the flag colors, but I can tell you that the signs on the dock are very clear and the captain will tell you too. So don’t worry about getting on the wrong one.

The boats do operate for early entry and extended evening hours, as I was able to get to MK from WL for rope drop and back home after my 12:30a ride on Tron

The boat you'll want is red--it runs direct to Magic Kingdom from Wilderness Lodge. Green is the direct boat to MK for Ft Wilderness, and blue does the circuit between Wilderness Lodge, Ft Wilderness, and Contemporary (it doesn't go to MK). As the PP said, the signage is clear and the CMs on the boat/dock are very helpful, so no real chance of going wrong. They run plenty early for you to get to early entry, and are usually available after evening extended hours. They don't run to the end of After Hours though, which is a hard ticket event at MK.

And just to warn ahead - if when you're there the weather is stormy with lightning present, the boats may be shut down - in those cases, a bus will be running to MK. You should be able to confirm in your room via the TV info or the Hey Disney thingie, or just call if you're not sure.

Plus, the boat to FW/CR doesn't start until 3pm!
