Bought wrong ticket - what to do?

my friend bought 4 four day park hopper tickets through air miles.ca
she accidentally bought four adult tickets ages 10 and up - her two boys are six and eight - can they use the adult Park Hopper tickets for the boys? should they go to the ticket booth before entering the parts to see if the ticket booth will exchange for a child park hopper?

I would call Disney and ask to speak to a lead. They may be able to give you the difference on a gift card, but I think that depends on the lead and how the ticket was purchased.

we did the same thing with my niece last year when she was 6. We actually didn't even realize it until we were pulling the paper tickets out at the turnstiles. The castmember noted it, but said that there wasn't any problem with letting a child in on an adult ticket. We didn't worry about a refund, but we might have had it been more than one ticket.

I like the idea above though about talking to a lead. I can't imagine you'd have any trouble getting in with the adult tickets, but it might be worthwhile to try to recoup the difference.
