Anyone have this happen? Does availability update? Do i have to keep refreshing? Is there some type of tip someone can give me?
Pretty much Epcot is open most days. So bought the weeks tickets on a wing and a prayer.

I would book the other parks for any days they're open and then fill in with Epcot for days nothing else is available. Then keep trying to rebook the Epcot days. Don't wait - availability is more likely to get worse than to get better, and it's better to have Epcot and at least be able to hop elsewhere after 2 than it is to let even Epcot book up and then you can't use your tickets at all.

Edited to add - the week before and the week after Easter, which is when you're going, are the two most popular weeks to visit WDW all year, after the week between Christmas and New Year's. So book what you can, even if it's all Epcot!

You can change your park reservation that morning if there is availability. It's easy to do it in the app.

Rumor is they are monkeying with availability for APs because of the California AP lawsuit, so they might not actually be at capacity.

OP, do you mean you paid disney's expensive park tickets for MK, and still couldn't get in? I mean, what do they expect you to do with those MK tickets then? I don't get it. When you buy a park ticket that should be your "ticket" to get into that park. Making people do reservations is ridiculous, IMO. That, and other changes, have made us Universal people from now on.

they don't charge extra for MK anymore, since you have to buy a ticket and register it before you can reserve a park. All the parks are now equally expensive.

you will be able to get into a park with your ticket, but until you make the park reservation it's not guaranteed to be the park you want.

When I checked this morning, it looked like all parks were still open for the 23rd.

No more upcharge for MK.

TBH -the website does say at least twice during the purchase process to check for availability for the park of your choice before you purchase. I just bought my niece a 2-day ticket to join us on our next trip and noticed this warning. The rest of us are AP holders.

That said, I don't like the reservation system at all and can't wait until it goes away (hopefully).

ETA also having to wait until 2 to park hop can go away as well :)
