Congratulations!!! Riviera is a beautiful resort and you and your family are going to make amazing memories. We also really liked the deal that was being offered for Riviera and decided to add on this month, as well. We bought VGF last year for the first time and told myself I wasn't going to add on yet, hehe. Oh well

I bought my first add on and first direct points at Riviera. With the current incentives I picked up 300 points at $40 off per point ($155/pt). Got the good advice on here to get smaller contracts and wound up with 3 100 point contracts. I'm PSYCHED!

Yes. I think every time you split it it comes out to around $250 more.

Question: I am calling today to make a deposit on Direct (going to hold out & see what new incentives are 9/16) at Riviera on 200 points into 2 contracts that will eventually be passed onto our 2 daughters one day. In booking with 2 contracts, I have to call in & transfer the points from one contract to the other to make a reservation, correct? How much of a pain is that to do every year?

If they're the same use year, you can select from both contracts when you book.

It gets complicated if you have more than one use year.

if they are the same use year (they will be when buying direct) then you dont need to call in, you can book online and the system will deal with it. You can choose which contract to take points from etc.
