Bought resale / borrowing ?

Our deed was just recorded last Friday & we are waiting for our member #. We bought SSR 80 pts, April use year. There are no points until April 2015. We would like to try to book aulani for June 2015 but I need to borrow some of my 2016 points into the 2015 year. Can I still book at 7 months? (November 2014) for the entire trip? I know I don't have to wait until April to make the reservation, but am I limited to making an 80 point reservation and then wait until April to borrow what I need and hope/pray I can add days to my existing reservation?

UY has nothing to do with when you can book. start by looking at the dates you are using your pts for a stay:

for a june 2015 stay, that is in your 2015 UY (april 1, 2015 to mar 31, 2016).

that means when your window opens (based on home resort), you can book that june 2015 stay using banked 2014 pts (if any) + current 2015 pts + borrowed 2016 pts (if needed).
