so i was wondering has anyone dabbled in bottle cap magnets?
i was thinking of trying them out and if they are easy enough to make i was going to see if my daughters troop leader would like to do it for a craft project.
would love to hear opinions and see pics if possible:thumbsup2

I have done some to make necklaces for a group of us for our upcoming trip. Really easy to make. I bought a bulk of hte bottlecaps on ebay and then used diamond glaze to cover the printed circles. Get a 1" circle punch and then you can print the images on cardstock (I used plain white staples cardstock) and punch them out. I have found that sometimes the image runs so this last time I covered it first in clear contact paper and then punched. Then nothing ran.

Super easy to do and they are really cute when done.

Good luck!

Sorry for delayed response - I don't have a tutorial but you can find them easily I'm sure. The lacquer I used that worked best was called Diamond Glaze but I got it at a show so you may need to check online. If you cover first in clear contact or something you can use almost any of the lacquers that are out there - if not they may run. I had to do some multiple times because the ink on the picutres ran like nuts. THen I did clear contact over the paper before cutting the circles and it worked like a charm! Good luck!

I'd love to hear about the nail polish! I also bought epoxy but then never used it. Too much mixing for me!
