Botox for teens?

I saw this on cnn and don't know why but this made me sad. Seems young girls starting at 18 on turning to botox to achieve "perfection". Even though they know the magazines and celebrity photos are airbrushed and fake, they claim they are simply trying to stay "ahead" of the competition.

So I'm I simply old fashion or does it seem 19 is a bit young for botox? or is this simply the latest beauty fad?

Way too young. People are crazy.

Also, times may be changing for the ole Hollywood. In the last Pirates movie, they wanted real women, no fake parts. The women actually had to jump for the audition and certain body parts had better move to be considered for the part. lol

I have nothing against Botox, or any other method to help an individual feel better about their appearence, but I don't think any 19 year old has any issue where they would need it.

Is this true? I find making a woman jump for an audition degrading, but thats just me.

I read an article on it. And the only reason the had to jump was to prove that they didn't have plastic surg. Apparently this was listed in the audition material. They weren't getting a thrill from it. I don't think it is degrading, they wanted a real woman, not some someone with a bunch of plastic parts. THey also wanted women that could have expression instead of the frozen botox look. I think it is much less degrading than only hiring women that are perfect by means of a boat load of plastic surgery. I actually think it is a nice return to normal and so do most of the people I have talked with.

I guess I think when you can't trust a woman to tell you whether she's had plastic surgery or not and you make her jump to prove that she didn't its degrading, but like I said thats just me.

YOu have to remember, this is Hollywood. If you want to live in that crazy world then you deal. Kind of like trusting that Paris Hilton really said that cocaine wasn't hers and all of her other excuses.
