botox for an 8-year old?

Okay, I'm bypassing the bulk of this insanity to ask one question that I believe I already know the answer to.
Does botox prevent future wrinkles? From what little I've read and seen, I'm thinking no, so what the heck would be the point in this other than to say you did it???

And on the subject of whether this is legal or not. Weren't there some cases recently involving parents who tattooed their children. Can't see how this is any different?? I hope they can find some legal reason to take this child away before too much damage is done. The poor kid is already obsessed about wrinkles and that is so sad.

Well as the saying goes, everything is known to cause cancer in the Stae of California (or kill you). Who knew mothers would be on that list.

My other thought, is why isn't she putting her and herself on some sort of diet? They both could use it, if she thinks she's going to Hollywood some day. Although they don't seem to be that picky on the horrible Mexican soap operas around here. Cheap/horrible acting with cheap/horrible video shooting.

How horrible. She is messing this child up. I can't even begin to imagine the repercussions that this is going to have. It sounds like just another poor excuse for a mother looking to live vicariously through there cash cow....oops, I mean child.

Eight year girls should not be wanting **** jobs and nose jobs. How horrible.

She did the Botox herself which I believe is against the law. She was also asked where she got the Botox and she didn't answer. I think the child Protective Services needs to straighten her out because that is child abuse to me.

That mother is missing a screw somewhere.

The woman is clearly nuts :scared1::scared1: She need to hand out anti-depressants instead of botox. That poor little girl is going to need them and bad.

Now, Im off to see if I can purchase some of this magic botox....mama is in need:banana::banana:

Wow...Mom is a goof and I hope that child protective services gets involved. This is abuse.:confused3

That child does NOT need to lose weight!

A bit critical, arent we? That child doesnt need a diet. If you would put that child on a diet, you arent far off from that mom.

That attitude is not restricted to beauty pageant families. It is common amongst any family that views girl's options as severely limited by their gender and determined by their beauty.

When dd was in 3rd grade, she came home and announced that her friend "Susie" was now shaving her legs and arms. Susie was 8 years old.

A few weeks later, I met Susie's mom at a PTA function. Susie's mom had been 15 when she had Susie -- a fact she volunteered to me out of the blue. She also volunteered her opinion that my dd should start shaving because, "You have to start that upkeep now so they can hook a good guy early. I waited til I was 15 and that was too late. All the GOOD baby daddies were already taken by then. I'm not gonna let Susie be that stupid. She needs to hook her baby daddy by the end of 5th grade."

True story.

Is it even legal to buy/possess the syringes? That woman is crazy, plain and simple. And full body waxes, esp in an attempt to prevent pubic hair? Dear Lord, there are some wacky people out there.

No 8 year old needs to be on a diet EVER!!1

“... I also want a **** and nose job soon, so that I can be a star.”

That is just terribly sad from anyone, let alone an eight year old :sad2: Way to boost self esteem botoxmom! :thumbsup2

ETA: forgot that word would get ** out....but I think you can guess...an eight year old usually doesn't' even have them yet!

Am I the only one that finds the full body wax really disturbing:scared:

As a grown woman I find these painful and violating, can't imagine how a kid feels.

This is abuse all the way.

In the second picture she appears to be chubby, and developing. Which is known to happen with girls who are heavier.

And her mom is no skin and bones model either. She should be focused on a healthy lifestyle of good food and excersize, to keep that wonderful youthful appearance. Rather than using drugs to do so. I wouldn't be surprised if she has more "appearance" problems down the road like eating disorders.

Her mother also appears to enjoy that "baby fat" look, round chubby cheeks. I guess it comes with the pageant look.
