We'll be staying onsite at WDW for 9 nights, and are planning to visit both Universal and IOA for one day - we're not big coaster fans (but want to do Spidey, MIB and see T2!)

If the park hours (on the Universal Orlando official site) show both parks opening at 9 am, what time does the ticket office open (to buy our 2 day/2 park passes)? Is there "early entry"?

Thanks for any info you can help us with!

During the three days we were there, the gates opened up at exactly the posted opening time. There was no early entry for anyone. The ticket offices were already open about 30 minutes prior to park opening but I don't know if they opened any earlier.

You won't have FOL so use your Express Passes wisely. We hit Spiderman very early since it formed long lines while we were there. The other really busy attractions during our visit were MIB, Back to the Future and Jaws, and the IOA coasters backed up too which of course won't affect you. I imagine that Shrek and Jimmy Neutron will be quite busy too.

Oh, for some reason ET was crowded each afternoon too. It wasn't a great ride IMO but the queue is super. If you have time try to walk through the Dueling Dragons queue. We didn't ride the coasters but walked through the queue and really enjoyed it.
