I've posted this on the Canadian Board but thought I may get a response here.

I'm looking for a reasonable park/stay/fly in Boston.

We stayed at the Best Western in Quincy??? It worked out okay, but the return shuttle took a long time. Our return flight is later this time and we have 3 children, would like to see if there is another reasonable option that is suggested. Also would like something North Boston as opposed to South.

TIA:)

Subbing....I posted a similar quesion on another thread but have not received recommendation. Did you have to pay extra for the shuttle at the Best Western in Quincy? I thought I read the shuttle was $25 extra but I may be wrong.

Thanks for posting the question. Hopefully, we get some recommendations.

I think the Windham has a park/stay /fly deal where you can sleep /leave your automobile for up to 14 days free with 2 way shuttle to BOS. It is 3-4 miles from the airport and shuttles running every 1/2 hrs???? (maybe)

An old code for this was disfly . I'm not sure if this is still active but worth a try at the Wyndham Boston Chelsea website.

(I hope this is right)

We stayed here in March 2009, at that time there wasn't any charge for parking the car for the week. The shuttle to the airport was at our choice of time and quite convient. They also held onto our carseat for the youngest until our return shuttle. We even had a complimentary hot breakfast.
The hotel itself was a bit older but the place was clean and staff friendly.

My two reasons that I wouldn't use them again are as stated above, the return shuttle was slow getting to the airport. We had to call them when we arrived and wait, and also I would prefer something on the North of Boston as we are driving from Canada.

Good luck finding something to suit you.

Hi,
I don't know if the Hampton Inn in Revere, MA offers this, but it is worth looking into. I have stayed here 2 summers in a row for my daughter's softball tournaments. Everytime we are here, we see lots of airline employees and people who are staying over to get to Logan. I know they have a shuttle, and the hotel is just north of the airport. HTH.:goodvibes

I had originally posted the question on the Canadian Board to see if there were any suggestions. Ted in Halifax left this post on that thread.

I have used Comfort Inn & Suites Logan International Airport. I liked the fact that it is north of the airport and easy to get to. They have a gated area for your car when you are away. Worked well for us ....

address
85 American Legion Highway Revere, MA 02151

Thought I would add it here in case it could help anyone.

Thanks everyone for your replies. The search is on.....

We used Embassy Suites Logan Airport last year and it was great, only a mile from the airport. Shuttle on return was fast and easy, our car was waiting for us. It's a little more expensive than some others $203 for our travel dates this
year but that includes Free full cook to order breakfast. Found that rate through Trinity Reservations.

I have never stayed at any of the hotels, I live only 20-25 minutes from Logan - but I can tell you which are closer.

As you leave the airport going north on 1A - you will come accross the Marriott. Next on the southbound side is the the Hampton Inn. Next comes the Comfort inn - I have been here for a retirement party - the food was good. The Marriot is about 5 minutes outside the airpot, the Hampton Inn about 6 minutes and the Comfort Inn is about 8 minutes. Depending on traffic.

If it were me - I would look at the best deal I could get at one of these three. Plenty of places nearby to eat.

Hampton Inn in Revere works for us. Reasonable room rates and good shuttle service.
Have a great trip.:cool1:

We stayed at the Days Inn on Route 1 in Saugus and woudn't hesitate to stay there again. Shuttle was quick and easy both to the airport and back, and the price was very reasonable.

Days Inn isn't Days Inn any more. It's a Holiday Inn Express. The ONLY reason I'd recommend other hotels ahead of this one is its distance. The hotels in posts 8 and 9 are a lot closer. But this HIE is in a safe area (just be careful exiting the parking lot ;)) and it's more convenient than the hotel in Quincy where the OP stayed before.

Oh, and being slightly more north of Boston than the other properties, the OP might actually prefer it.
